Samson was a man of God and He represented the ALMIGHTY, just as we do and if anyone attacks us, it is as if they are attacking God Himself. If you are a true child of God, don't worry about anything or anybody, you just trusting God and let Him fight your battles. In (1 JOHN 5:4) For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. It was Samson's faith in God that activated the power of the Holy Spirit of God to inhabit him to overcome the enemy and kill 1000 Philistines with a jawbone of an ass.
