Verse for the day #2- 2 Timothy 2:15

"Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth"

Meaning

In our daily lives we always do constant things. Like sleeping, waking up and eating and maybe brushing our teeth and taking a bath. These are the usual things we do each day. These are the few things that are consistent.

Just like praying, maybe we do it in the same time,same place it is where we consistently meeting the presence of the Lord in a certain place like meeting our special someone. Are we still consistently seeking God? In every few minutes and even seeking him at work and asking him to be part of our work?Are we still consistently searching him and his direction? Are we faithfully reading his word,the bible?Are we really striving to apply all the things that we learn from him?Are we consistently striving to be Christ like each day? To be more like Christ?Are we still consistently worshipping him? By consistently going to church and participating in a small group and small gathering to seek more God's truth? Hmmm I am convisted on this because I failed to go to church today. I am sorry Lord for missing the opportunity to attend and to listen your word today.

My learning is that we should strive more to be consistent. In walking by faith and to do our very best to present ourselves as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. Amen.

Thank you Lord for reminding me to be more faithful to you. Thank you for rebuking me when i do wrong. You deserved our best Oh God.
